Officials: Fireworks may have caused fire in NE Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials believe that fireworks may have caused a blaze in Northeast Bakersfield.

The fire started at Alfred Harrell Highway near Fairfax Road just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, according to officials.

KCFD says fireworks were found in the area.

Officials say there are no reports of injuries or damages to any buildings.
