BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officials are investigating a collision involving a train and vehicle in Northwest Bakersfield.

According to the CHP traffic incident website, the incident occurred near Fruitvale Avenue and Snow Road at about 10:33 p.m.

The website notes that the collision didn't occur at a railroad crossing.

It is unclear whether anyone was in the vehicle at the time of the incident or if anyone is injured.

Emergency personnel is on scene now.
