LODI, Calif. — The Kern County Sheriff's office is looking for information regarding the homicide investigation of Karl Sharrah in the Lodi-Valley Springs area.

Officials say in August of 2016 Sharrah was reported missing to the Calaveras County Sheriff's Office before his remains were found in the desert near California City. Additional remains were also found in January of 2019 that forensice were able to identify as Sharrah's.

A forensic examination of Sharrah's remains have revealed he was a victim of a homicide.
