TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Ahead of the Tehachapi Mountain Festival this weekend, officials are reminding the community that here will be a significant police presence at the event.

The Tehachapi Police Department said that it is aware of several rumors circulating online regarding potential threats of violence at the festival. Officials said they find the posts unsubstantiated and irresponsible and they have not received any threat of violence for this event.
