Employees at a Goodwill located on the 1100 block of Olive Drive reported noxious fumes around noon on Thursday, according to KCFD.
Store employees said noxious fumes were causing difficulty breathing in the donation area.
Kern County Fire Department and Haz-Mat responded to the scene and evacuated the store.
After two entries, no hazards were detected and the store was cleared to reopen.
