Olympians Greg Louganis, Janet Evans and Allyson Felix were named as grand marshals of the 2017 Tournament of Roses Parade Thursday.

 

The grand marshals will ride in the 128th Rose Parade themed "Echoes of Success," which "tells the story of how our character has developed through the selfless contributions of others and celebrates their inspirational gifts," the Tournament of Roses website stated.

 

The announcement was made just after 9:30 a.m. at the iconic Tournament House in Pasadena.

 

The 2017 Rose Parade will take place on Monday, January 2.
