SHAFTER, Calif. — The Omni Family Health clinics in Shafter are now open after the clinic was placed under a temporary quarantine Friday morning.
According to the clinic, there was a suspected measles diagnosis after a patient came in with a rash and other symptoms associated with the viral infection.
Health officials sent out a release Friday afternoon to let the public know that the clinics proceeded with the utmost caution and deemed the case as a false. Omni Family Health confirmed that the quarantine was lifted at around 11 a.m.
