According to the Kern County Public Health Department, On the Vine off Rosedale Highway is currently closed.
The Public Health stated that the restaurant and wine bar failed to comply with construction requirements of California Retail Food Code for food establishments. The owner failed to obtain all building and environmental health permits necessary for operation of a food facility.
A spokesperson for the company said they plan to reopen in three to four weeks.
