BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — One pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Edison Highway on Nov. 10th about 6:25 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

Breanna Palomino, 24, of Bakersfield, was struck by a vehicle on Edison Highway, west of Chamberlain Avenue.

Palomino was taken to Kern Medical where she later died from her injuries, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said the death was ruled an accident.
