Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department say a fight happened near the corner of Niles Street and Owens Street.
Officers say during the fight one of the men involved was stabbed and taken to a local hospital.
Police say the victim was a juvenile who was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Officers also say the father of one of the men involved in the fight pulled him away from the altercation and when police arrived to assess his injuries and question him, the man then got into another fight with officers.
That man was arrested for obstructing an investigation.
Officers say they had received calls of a possible shooting in the area but after investigating, they were never able to confirm that information or locate any bullet casings.
