One person is dead after a crash just north of Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon. 

According to CHP, a person riding a motorcycle or a three-wheeler collided with another vehicle around noon in the area of Granite Road just south of Famoso. 

According to CHP, a man riding a Harley Davidson trike on Granite Road when he took a turn too fast and overturned resulting in the rider's death.

The accident was just south of Round Mountain Road. The road was closed in both directions for a period of time while it was investigated by CHP and the corner. The road is now back open in both directions and the scene is clear.
