BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — One man is dead after vehicle rollover accident near Union and Bernard St., according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
According to BPD, upon officers arrival it was determined the vehicle was traveling southbound on Union Avenue when for unknown reasons lost control, flipped and landed upside down.
The driver has been identified by a coroner as 74-year old Billy Steele Nix from Bakersfield, who was pronounced deceased at the scene according to BPD.
