(UPDATE 10/21) The Kern County Coroner identified 29-year-old Enrique Perez Hernandez as the man shot and killed in Southeast Bakersfield Sunday.

One man has died following a shooting in Southeast Bakersfield Sunday evening.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting near Padre Street and Jastro Avenue at about 9:45 p.m.

When they arrived, deputies located a man with gunshot wounds in the area.

The man was pronounced dead on scene, according to KCSO.

At the moment, there is no suspect information available.
