One man injured after shooting in East Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A shooting in East Bakersfield has left one man injured with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

According to BPD, around 12:40 a.m. on December 29, officers were called out to an alley in the 600 block of Kentucky Street in East Bakersfield for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

BPD says there is no suspect information at this time, and that an investigation is on-going. Anyone with information regarding the investigation or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact BPD at 661-327-7111.
