BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A shooting in Lake Isabella left one man injured Saturday night.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, an elderly man was shot by another man near the 6100 block of Cypress Avenue at about 8:30 p.m.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been located yet, according to KCSO.

Deputies believe the suspect also robbed the victim after the shooting.

The victim was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.
