One person is in the hospital after an overnight crash in Oildale.
According to California Highway Patrol, a man was riding an electric scooter in the bike lane on Roberts Lane when for an unknown reason, he moved from the bike lane into the street in the path of a man driving a Honda. The Honda hit the back of the scooter.
The driver of the scooter was taken to the hospital with major injuries while the driver the Honda was not injured.
Alcohol and drugs are not currently being considered a factor in the crash.
