UPDATE (April 10, 2017 11:30 a.m.): The Coroner has identified the male killed in a roll over crash  as 48-year-old Jamie Vaughn Harter of Weldon. The cause and manner is still pending.

The California Highway Patrol is reporting that at least one person is dead after a car rolled down an embankment near the auxiliary dam campground in Lake Isabella.

It happened at around 8 p.m., and reportedly involved a child.
