One man is dead after being shot in the head in Delano on Saturday.

Delano Police say they were called out at about 1:30 p.m. for a call regarding assault with a deadly weapon near the area of 20th and Princeton.

When they arrived, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound to his head. The man's age and identification are unknown at this time.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation. There is no suspect information at this time, and it's not currently seen as gang-related. Check back for updates.
