One woman and child were injured in a rollover crash after their vehicle went down an embankment near Oildale.

Around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, CHP officers responded to a rollover crash near Granite Rd near N Chester Ave. Ext. where they found one woman pinned inside of a vehicle.

Kern County fire fighters also responded to the scene and extricated the woman from the vehicle.

Initial reports suggested that the child may have been pinned under the vehicle, but responding officers found the child standing outside the vehicle, suffering moderate injuries.

The condition of the woman is unknown. No other vehicles were involved.
