As retailers prepared for one of the biggest shopping days of the year, so did many people ready to check holiday shopping off the list.
Best Buy's Black Friday door busters began on Thanksgiving at 5 p.m., while Walmart and Target opened their doors at 6 p.m.
Many of the major retailers in town set to stay open throughout Black Friday.
