Operation Homefront and Lockheed Martin will be distributing free holiday meal kits to military families today, November 8, 2017 from 9 a.m. to noon. 

The distribution will take place at the Oasis Community Center located at 205 W. Popson Ave., Building 2500, Edwards AFB, CA 93524.

Each of the meal kits distributed will include non-perishable items as well as coupons that are redeemable for perishable groceries needed for a full holiday meal. 

These free holiday meal kits are able to be distributed through the national nonprofits annual Holiday Meals for Military program. 

There will be 250 free meal kits distributed to military families today.
