BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — An outage in Southwest Bakersfield has left hundreds of customers without power on Saturday morning.

A total of 1,641 customers are without power in the area, according to the Pacific Gas and Electric outage map.

A preliminary investigation by PG&E shows that the outage is due a vehicle that ran into a power pole.

At this time, power is expected to be restored to impacted customers by 11:45 a.m. Saturday.
