(UPDATE: February 23, 2019 2:13 p.m.) Power has been restored to some in Northeast Bakersfield. 383 customers are still without power. PG&E estimates power to return by 4 p.m.

Over 1,000 customers are without power in Northeast Bakersfield near Bakersfield College.
According to the PG&E Outage Center, 1,470 customers are affected by the outage in the area of River Boulevard and University Avenue near Bakersfield College in Northeast Bakersfield.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time. PG&E expects power to be restored around 4 p.m.
