Over $350,000 worth of drugs seized in Delano during arrests

DELANO, Calif. - 40 lbs. of suspected meth, along with other drugs, were seized during the arrests of three subjects in Delano, according to KCSO.

Investigators seized over 40 lbs. of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 1,000 counterfeit Oxycodone pills produced with Fentanyl, a quarter pound of cocaine, two stolen semi-auto handguns and 5.56 armor piercing ammunition during the arrests.

According to KCSO, Luis Gerardo Arellano, 27, Jorge Luis Arellano, 31, and Oscar Prado, 23, were arrested for multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance for sales, transportation of a controlled substance for sales, and maintaining a place for the purpose of sales. Luis Antonio Barreto, 23, was also arrested for conspiracy, possession and transportation of a controlled narcotic for sales.

The arrests were made in near Golden State Highway and Woollomes Avenue and the 200 block of Road 152 in Delano. The estimated street value of the narcotics seized is valued at $377,200.
