BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — There will be several overnight ramp closures the week of February 4th, impacting drivers access to surface streets to and from Highway 58.
Officials say electricians will be working along Highway 58 and at various on- and off-ramps during nighttime hours from Monday, February 4 through Thursday, February 7. Closures are planned to be in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning.
The following areas are going to be impacted:
- Outside westbound lane on State Route 58 between Cottonwood Road and H Street
- Westbound State Route 58/Union Avenue on-ramp
- Westbound State Route 58/Chester Avenue off-ramp
- The two outside eastbound lanes on State Route 58 between Hughes Lane and Cottonwood Road
- Eastbound State Route 58/Union Avenue off-ramp
- Eastbound State Route 58/Cottonwood Road off-ramp
Officials says the closures may be postponed and rescheduled without notice due to weather changes or other unforeseen circumstances.
