BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A deadly crash involving a vehicle versus pedestrian unfolded in Delano Saturday night leaving one woman dead.

Police said around 11:45 Saturday night, California Highway Patrol officers responded to the Highway 99 on ramp near Ellington Street. The vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with law enforcement.

At this time there is limited information about what led up to the collision.
