An overturned truck and trailer caught fire on southbound Highway 99 just south of Highway 46. 

The vehicle is blocking two lanes of southbound traffic.

According to the California Highway Patrol dispatchers website, others stopped and helped get the people out of the overturned vehicle. 

CHP officials said only minor injuries were reported. 

Traffic is backed up in the area as crews work to clean it up. Avoid the area or use a different route.
