Firefighters with the Kern County Fire Department were sent to The KCFD crews are on scene of a large stack of idle pallets on fire in north Bakersfield Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was next to the Volvo Trucks Dealership at 8730 Golden State Hwy near the 7th Standard exit.
Crews were faced with a heavy fire load upon arrival.
Engine and truck crews put large diameter hose, deck guns and an elevated master streams in service to battle the flames.
