Panama-Buena Vista district announces free summer meal program

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District has announced their free summer meal program will begin June 3 and run through June 28.

The "Seamless Summer Feeding Program" provides meals to all children 18 years and younger for free during the summer.

Meals must be eaten on site and leftovers may not be removed from the eating area. Adults will not be served, unless they purchase a meal ($4.15/meal)

Here is a look at the locations and serving times:

June 3 – June 28, 2019 from 11-11:45 AM, Monday through Friday

  • Miller Elementary School, 7345 Mountain Ridge Drive (93313)

  • Stine Elementary School, 4300 Wilson Road (93309)

  • Stonecreek Jr. High School, 8000 Akers Road (93313)

  • Whitley Elementary School, 2923 McKee Road (93313)

June 4 – June 28, 2019 from 11-11:45 AM, Monday through Friday

  • Seibert Elementary School, 2800 Agate Street (93304)
