The Panama-Buena Vista Union School District is proud to announce the launch of its custom mobile APP, an all-in-one information source for parents, students, staff and the community, developed to provide direct access to the district’s most sought after information.This free mobile APP, available on Apple and Android devices, gives stakeholders the ability to access information throughout the district in a faster, easier, more up-to-date, and more personal way. Users can follow schools of their choosing and receive only the news, events, notifications, and social media updates that are important to them.The Panama-Buena Vista APP will soon provide secure access for student and parents to see grade and attendance information, allowing them to view academic standings at any time, from anywhere. From the APP, users can also use the TIP feature to alert district and site officials to a variety of issues including graffiti, bullying and even kudos, for incidents needing recognition.Other APP features include cafeteria menus and payment, bus routes, school finders, notifications from the schools of your choice and more. Content can also be received in over 60 different languages.The Panama-Buena Vista APP is part of a greater communication plan that came from LCAP community meetings where better communication was determined a growing need.
