A local family found parasites in their seafood this past week at a nearby Costco.

The store is now being investigated by the Public Health Services of the San Joaquin County after the family saw worms in their cod and salmon.

The worms were big enough to be seen with the human eye.  It was so shocking to the family that they recorded the parasites with their cell phones.

Costco has not yet responded to the incident, however in the past they mentioned that fish commonly contain parasites and are safe to eat if cooked properly.
