The Tucker Road repaving project has begun and is expected to last 4-6 weeks. The project will have lane closures but access to all businesses and residences in the area will be open.

The cost of the construction project was estimated at $457,924.00. The City of Tehachapi was awarded a grant from the Regional Surface Transportation Program in the amount of $405,400.00 to help pay for the project.
