On Thursday, April 7, 2016 around 10 p.m. officers were dispatched to White Lane near Gosford Road for a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
Upon arrival, officers determined an adult male was crossing the roadway in the crosswalk at the intersection of White Lane and Lily Drive when he was struck by a vehicle traveling west on White Lane.
The pedestrian was then struck by two additional vehicles also traveling west on White Lane.
All three drivers stated that the west bound traffic signal was green before and after entering the intersection.
The pedestrian died at the scene.
The drivers of the involved vehicles were not under the influence or impaired by alcohol or drugs. Speed and weather conditions were not a factor in this accident.
This investigation is ongoing.
