LAMONT, Calif. (KERO — One man is dead following a deadly crash Tuesday morning near Di Giorgio Road in Lamont.
California Highway Patrol said a man was walking in the road near the 184 when he was hit by a car. That man died at the scene and his body was found around 6:40 a.m. but officers said the collision probably happened around 2:45 a.m.
It's not clear if CHP has a description of the car or driver involved and an investigation is still ongoing at this time.
