BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police are investigating a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday night.
Officers were in the area of Wilson Road at Larson Lane in Bakersfield when they witnessed the collision at 8:30 p.m. The officers provided aid to the pedestrian, an adult male who suffered major injuries. He was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
