The District's Attorney's Office charged pediatrician, Dr. Christie Yee with two charges of misdemeanor counts of willful cruelty to a child on Wednesday.

Yee is scheduled to be in court on Thursday. 

On March 8th, Yee was arrested Tuesday in Northwest Bakersfield after a person called Bakersfield Police to report children crying in a car,. 

Sergeant Gary Carruesco with BPD said a two-year-old boy and a 9-month-old girl were left in a white minivan anywhere from 1-4 hours in the parking lot of a medical building in Centennial Plaza.
