BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — This Saturday in our Pet of the Week segment we featured ten month old Pit Bull mix Riley and she's a puppy.

She has a lot of energy, she loves her baths, going for runs and she gets along great with cats and dogs.

Riley's tough exterior may scare cats or even your neighbor, but fear not Riley just likes to play.

However, because of her size she may not be a good apartment dog. Kern County Animal Services said she would be an amazing family dog with kids that can keep her energy going.

Riley does need a yard to play in or at least a walk twice a day to ensure she doesn't start to chew up your home, but another thing to remember is that Riley may not practice social distancing if she loves you or the taste of your mask...

Riley has all of her shots and you can foster to adopt her, but she will need a few medications that will be provided by the Kern County Animal Services to help her puppy kennel cough heal.

If you like her she is less than $100 dollars to take home.

She would be $40 and that includes her microchip, her spay and all of her shots.

If you would like to adopt Riley you can call the Kern County Animal Services at 661-868-7100. Her vin number is 1131247 But hurry she may get a home soon!
