23ABC's Pet of the Week, Ella, is a two-year-old Chihuahua.

Poor little Ella suffered deep thermal burns after complications while getting spayed. But she’s not letting that get in the way of her daily activities.

Ella’s foster says even though she went through a traumatic experience, she has regained her confidence.

She is loving, spunky and playful however she is relatively calm and is not as rambunctious as most Chihuahuas. She also gets along great with children and dogs of any size.

Ella is house and kennel-trained and would be a great fit for a family with children and other pets.
