BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Pacific Gas and Electric said it is monitoring storm conditions and its potential impact for service in Kern County.
According to a news release sent out Tuesday afternoon, PG&E officials said the storm is already impacting northern California, and is expected to reach Kern County by midnight.
They anticipate snow levels to reach down to the 2000-3000 foot.
The company said it is encouraging customers to have a plan in place and prepare for power outages.
