BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Lightning in a Bottle music festival has wrapped up and the thousands of festival-goers have gone home, but it appears that the attendees left behind piles and piles of trash.

The festival, which was held at Buena Vista Lake kicked off last week and wrapped up on Monday. Now that the festival is over, officials are left to pick up all the trash and mess that was left behind. Papers to cups, wrappers and other garbage were all left behind to be cleaned up.

The County said that DoLab, the group that put on the event is in the process of cleaning up the area and that the park is expected to fully reopen by the 21st.
