A northwest Bakersfield pizzeria is apparently closed, but it's not clear as to the reason why.

The Pizza Press near Brimhall Road and Allen Road is closed. There are two signs are posted on the building, one saying the pizzeria is temporarily closed for maintenance and another is actually a notice of property seizure from the county saying the property has been seized as part of a tax debt.

It's unclear if the tax lien seizure is for Pizza Press or for the actual property owner where the restaurant is located.

23ABC tried to contact Pizza Press officials for details but a number listed as a national media contact was disconnected.
