A plane with reported engine troubles is on its way to Meadows Field Airpot.
A distress call was received at about 10:25 a.m. Tuesday and Kern County Fire Department firefighters were sent to the airport as a precaution to the callout.
The intial call out was that the plane was experiencing engine failure.
At about 11:20 a.m., the plane landed safely with 3 people onboard.
