Two hundred 28 years ago today the United States government officially adopted the Constitution.
On Thursday, the country will celebrate Constitution Day and the offices of Bakersfield Congressman Kevin McCarthy will celebrate by passing out pocket Constitutions.
Local residents can pick up their pocket Constitutions at McCarthy's office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 4100 Empire Drive, Suite 150.
