CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — California City Police officers arrested a Cal City man after he knocked down a 63-year-old man and kicked him several times while the victim was unconscious.

Police arrested 49-year-old Wiley Fuller. Officials say he was involved in an altercation with the victim at an apartment building. According to witnesses, Fuller struck the victim until he was unconscious.

Witnesses say Fuller was heard saying he wanted to kill the victim. Fuller kicked the victim's head several times.

Fuller was arrested and charged with felony battery and criminal threats. He was also charged with committing a felony while out on bail on an unrelated case involving a domestic violence.

The victim is recovering at home.
