Bakersfield police held the “Tip-a-Cop” event at Red Robin in the Valley Plaza Thursday to raise money for Kern County Special Olympics athletes.

Cops helped waiters and waitress’s bus tables and serve food all evening.

All money raised benefited Kern County Special Olympics athletes so they can participate in various activities throughout the year in California.
