BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE: The Bakersfield Police Department responded to a deadly stabbing Saturday night.

The call came in at 9:23 p.m. Saturday to the area of Eye Street and Wall Street. When officers arrived they found one victim with multiple stab injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released and the investigation is on-going.
