Police looking for man involved in robbery and vandalism at AMPM

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting help finding the suspect in an armed robbery.

On June 5th, a man, described as 30-40-years-old, wearing a gray LA Dodgers t-shirt, black pants, and no shoes, according to BPD.

He walked into an AMPM on Ming Avenue near Wible Road just after 4 a.m. and demanded merchandise. He threatened an employee with a metal belt buckle, stole some merchandise and ran out.

He caused about $400 worth of damage as he vandalized the store.
