Police looking for suspect who burglarized two vehicles

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for two separate vehicle burglaries.

On May 14, 2017 at 11:15 p.m., a suspect forced entry to an unoccupied vehicle that was parked in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot located at 3001 Buck Owens Boulevard.

The suspect stole items and fled in a vehicle.

On May 15, 2017 at 5:30 a.m., the suspect again forced entry to an unoccupied vehicle that was parked in the Holiday Inn Express parking lot located at 3927 Marriott Drive. The suspect stole items and fled in a vehicle.]

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for both incidents.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’6”, bald, and thin build. The suspect’s vehicle in both investigations is described as a light colored station wagon.
