The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying and locating two suspects wanted for an armed robbery.

On February, 13, 2017 at 6:42 p.m., officers responded to the N&S convenience store, located at 801 L Street for a robbery with a firearm that just occurred.

Two suspects entered the business armed with firearms and demanded currency. During the robbery, suspect #1 fired a round from his firearm at the clerk, at which time the clerk returned fire.

Neither the suspect nor the clerk were struck by gunfire, and the two suspects were able to run to a nearby waiting vehicle and flee the scene. The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1 – White or Hispanic male, 180-200 pounds, wearing a black jacket with a hood, dark pants, white shoes, white cloth over his face, black sunglasses, black gloves, armed with silver revolver

Suspect 2 – White or Hispanic male, 150-180 pounds, wearing a grey long sleeve shirt, dark pants, black cloth over his face, black baseball hat with "G" logo and dark green bill (possible green bay packers hat), white gloves, armed with a shotgun

The suspect vehicle is described as a possible black older model vehicle with a white top.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation, or the identity of the suspects is asked to call Detective Keegan Gavin (661) 326-3557, or the Bakersfield Police Department (661) 327-7111.
