Police looking for two suspects who robbed an AMPM in South Bakersfield

Bakersfield police are looking for two suspects wanted for robbery and conspiracy in South Bakersfield.

A suspect entered an AMPM at 3220 Ming Avenue, brandished a black semiautomatic firearm and stole cigarettes while holding the clerk at gunpoint.

The suspect then demanded the clerk to open the register, took cash, and ran. The second suspect was standing in the doorway acting as a lookout.

Both suspects were seen getting in to a white SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or Chevy Suburban, which went north on Wible Road.

The suspect who committed the robbery is described as an unknown race male, slim build, and 5’10” to 6’ wearing a grey hooded sweater, black ski mask over his face, brown pants, red shoes, and black gloves.

The second suspect is described as an unknown race male, slim build, 5’10” to 6’ wearing a black hooded sweater, brown pants and black shoes with white stripes.
